Carbon fiber on winther

Hi I want to know if carbon fiber can resist salt, water, and a cold climate, because my hood is broken and I want to know if a carbon fiber hood does worth it even in a hard climate. thank you very much!

Yes, the only element that will really want to watch out for is the sun.

And some maguire's liquid glass every 2 weeks will keep that hood/trunk nice, all year round, and it's like a 30 min. Investment

Re: Carbon fiber on winther

When you get a carbon fiber part, either have it clear-coated or painted. Otherwise you're setting yourself up for a bad time...

The sun, as mentioned, is the only thing that will give you trouble. Re-clearing the part will lengthen the life expectancy by a few years.
