Do any of you guys have blue hid lights on a red prelude? I wanna get blue lights but don't know if it would look normal on a red car

Be aware that 'blue" headlights are illegal per the DOT. Meaning a cop can give you a ticket at his / her discretion!

And they do.
They loooooooove to f@#k with youngsters who have blue headlights. And they really like doing bat-turns on main streets only to get behind your blue headlight-ed car with 3+" exhaust pipe tip. Lord help ya if your windows are tinted, and your car was all thumply thumpin' when he/she noticed you.

My mechanic has 6k in his geo tracker (yep, a tracker) and they look juuuuuust a bit on the blue side of white.

Re: Red prelude blue HID lights?

Yea, that is so true bykfixer... There are plenty of cars around that have smoked taillights and heavily tinted windows around me, but cops don't **** with them because they are infinitys... They would rather **** with kids with Hondas that have loud exhausts... But my question is, if its so illegal to have a loud exhaust, how about giving tickets to the guys on Harley Davidsons that make your ears bleed when they ride past you?!?!? But my exhaust that is like 50 times quieter gets pulled over....

Re: Red prelude blue HID lights?

There's a good chance the chief is one of those hell's accountants riding around on a harley.

Seriously I have no idea why they pick on the honda crowd. Just know they do.
Maybe for the same reason a supercharged mustang or a $100k vette driver feel they have to rev their engine at a red light when sitting next to my poor pitiful 91... intimidation perhaps?
