Help new to Hondas

So I have a question for everyone here who knows way more about hondas than I do. I just picked up a 97 Prelude with the H22a vtec engine in it. 5 speed 132k. while I was driving home the other day Im cruising at about 62mph and all of a sudden the engine just dies. No strange noises or anything just no response and dead. I pulled over and it restarted with no problem and drove the rest of the way home fine. ??? wtf happened? Any advice is greatly appreciated as im entirely new to honda engines. Thanks

Re: Help new to Hondas

Mine had the same problem, if there is no bugging I would check ignition. 5Gs have a few problems that are common like ignition switch or main relay solders, you could also check your distributor cap and rotor, ignition coil and wiring, my problem was a worned out
contact that was reacting to the heat. Search for all of these on the internet you'll find infos and tutorials on how to test and correct the problems. Sorry if there is some mistakes english is not my primary language
