hi guys im new here and new to the honda world i recently bought a 97 honda preludee with h22a4 swap! im having a weird problem idk what it is and joined this hoping for some help. i just bought a new battery today hooked it up wouldn turn over jiggled the key off and on then it started. then i drove got home turned it off went to see if u would turn over and all my dash light turned on flashhed and made a clicking sound did it couple other times then turned over. i was told it was map sensor but would like some of ur guys input thank you :)

You may have the ole faulty ignition switch recalled by honda and not switched out to an improved version by the previous owner dilema. If that aint it, check the hot wire to your starter. My money's on the ignition switch.

Seriously. They fail sometimes. Contact your Honda dealer, tell them your issue and vin. They will know if the switch was replaced already. It's a recall so they won't charge you for the r&r if that's your issue.

Also if your seatbelts don't recoil proper, that too is a lifetime warranty.

Service bulletins^^^ it's for the sh but you can select the base easily.

thank you i will definetly b checking that out i just looked up what the symptoms are of the faulty ignition is it too old for me to still get it done for free the recall was posted in 2002
