Transmission Question

This has been asked before but here it is again. Will an H23 5-Speed work with an H22 motor? What kind of **** would I have to do? Planning on doing my auto to manual swap so I got a parts car with an H23 tranny but now that I think about it I think I'd rather get an H22 engine and have fun with high compression instead of boost. This is all kind of a maybe, but just play along.

In other news I pick up my exhaust tomorrow. Discuss.

Yes it will work.
What you should do is get a new clutch kit and a lighten flywheel, something like 12-15lbs.

what exhaust you get ??

all F and H trannies are interchangable (besides the s2000 motors and trannies, which are F20c and F22c for the motors, and idk what their tranny codes are)

Ok cool. The guy I bought it from said the tranny was rebuilt a few thousand miles before he blew the motor so it should be good to go when I have time. Tomorrow I'm picking up an HKS Sport Exhaust. Ohhh I can't wait to make my first night run with it. Still need to get a high flow cat, probally next pay day. ^_^
