hood alignment

So when my car got stolen the idiot ran it into my sisters car. When he did the hood got pushed over. now it looks all weird and my right head light won't come up (89 Si).

Question is. How do you re align the hood?

Edit: I looked at the manual and see the screws that hold it to the hinj. I'm going to try to unscrew them and see if I can align it like that. However, id still like some info/tips if anyone has done this

Re: hood alignment

That's pretty much all there is to it. You may need to adjust the hood latch to the left or right as well.

Chances are your radiator support may have gotten tweaked - how hard was it hit?

Well it wasn't hit, the idiot who tried to steal it lunged into the car the was parked in front of me (was parked on the side of the street). He couldn't drive a manual so that's my best bet as to what happened. So he couldn't have been going more then 5mph?

Re: hood alignment

That's still more than enough to tweak the support. It's very flimsy when you take into consideration it's a 2500lb or so car moving into an object at a dead stop

Pretty much got flamed for driving like a jackass and was told to slow down. And I'll be damned, slowing down fixed it.
