CEL Code 43

I just pulled my CEL code today and got 4 long blinks, and 3 short blinks, being code 43...

thats the fuel supply system.

my question is what would be wrong with it only to turn on when im at high speeds, and keeping the gas pedal steady? when i toggle the throttle at high speeds it doesnt turn on... but when i hold the gas pedal steady over 50mph it turns on...

any ideas of what it may be? hopefully just a clogged filter

Re: CEL Code 43

just read the service manual, and it says that the problems would be the o2 sensor, wiring from ecu to o2 sensor, or the ecu..... hoping its not the ecu....

i cant even run these tests because i dont have a volt meter or money to buy one. at least i know what the problem could be now.

Re: CEL Code 43

thanks for the post, i already ordered a new fuel filter from honda, because i have 2 problems that are caused by that already also.
loss of power, and hard starting in cold weather.
i replaced my o2 sensor about 9 months ago with an aftermarket OE quality one so hopefully thats not the case... not trying to drop $210 for a new OEM one right now...
and im picking up a tap and die and the bolt i need to fix my exhaust leak finally tomm through paypals bill me later credit line, so i will be exhaust leak free hopefully by saturday.... which i originally thought was throwing off my o2 sensor because of reading a lean mixture possibly? so im gonna do that and the fuel filter first and see if that works.

Re: CEL Code 43

still throwing up code 43 after fixing my exhaust leak.... next step, fuel filter replacement, then if that fails, looking into buying a new o2 sensor...
