Re: Window broken... plexi?

It will probably cost more than it's worth unless you drag you car and have all other windows replaced with plexi glass or lexan.

I don't think the defroster will work properly, though.

Re: Window broken... plexi?

Plexi =flexi. Depending on which window in the rear is being replacdd, you may need roof flaps or anchor screws to keep it from blowing out at 55+

Re: Window broken... plexi?

What kind of garage is it parked in? Is there insurance on the items stored? Insurance on the car?

Re: Window broken... plexi?

Why?????? Just replace it with the real thing!

I still do not understand why people do not have comprehensive with full glass coverage on their cars. The cost is negligible and claims for glass do not up your rates.

Re: Window broken... plexi?

Exactly Q

I get $0 deductible glass breakage for $35/ yr. I don't deal with the gecko or the folks who represent the other side in wrongful death car crashes. (They actually did because it got them out of paying the claim.) I go with the good hands and get a birthday card from my rep.
