Help Please

I have the very common idle issue with the h22 in my prelude, after taking off my intake and pluging my IACV vac line idle problem stoped, I imaging the valve is stuck open and got my throttle body gaskets orderd so I can clean it. Can I drive safely without the IAC in the mean time?

It an idle control sensor. If you get smooth acceleration and it idles ok,.. sure
Do you have a CEL on?

Pretty much got flamed for driving like a jackass and was told to slow down. And I'll be damned, slowing down fixed it.
