Limited Slip

Ive got a 95 lude with the H22 and it has the m2a4 transmission. I have searched and found that particular transmission does not have the LSD. But when I jack the car up and turn the wheels, they both turn the same direction. As well as when I have someone hold one side by using a prybar in the studs to keep that wheel from turning, and I attempt to turn the other side it is pure hell to get it to turn but it does. Do I have limited slip? I know it sounds like I do, but the numbers say I dont. And I'm not sure if the previous owner installed some sort of LSD unit. Thanks in advance!

Re: Limited Slip

You can feel the LSD work while taking sharp turns full throttle. Tons of front grip with good tires

Re: Limited Slip

The reason your wheels turn in the same direction is because they are controlled by the steering rack... not your transmission....

An lsd can be installed into a normal transmission, i forget how to check if you have one or not. Chances are you don't if it's a stock motor etc....

Re: Limited Slip

I think when you pull the axle if it has a bar across it than it is LSD if it doesn't than it is normal. Somebody correct me if i'm wrong.
