Low end torque problem

I have recently had an f20b swapped into my 1999 prelude. I feel like there may be a simple answer but i tend to overthink things. When i start the car it runs amazing for a few runs until it starts warming up. Then the low end torque is just terrible and i was wondering if there is any way to maintain that initial torque. It definitely is not a gradual change either its either awesome or sucky.

Re: Low end torque problem

Well in order for us to properly give informative info, we need YOU to help us help you, such as you providing more insight with your setup. Simply telling us the car has no torque after a motor swap is about the broadest statement ever.

How about;
-Why'd you swap your motor? Something wrong with the old one? If so, what?
-Where'd you get the motor from?
-Any CEL's? If so, what?
-Other physical/tangible symptoms? Such as you press the gas pedal, the revs shoot up, but car doesn't go anywhere, shaking/vibrating, etc.
(Not a relative statement. Compared the Subby, a Honda with no torque isn't exactly something to write home about)

Re: Low end torque problem

Okay understandable. I apologize for the ambiguity. I got the engine because my previous engine was screwed up by the previous owner he actually ground off part of the crank and beat the hell ou of the engine. so I bought an f20b because I have limited funds and I honestly just wanted to try it out. JDM engine I had one cel which I corrected with a new coolant temp sensor. AEM cold air intake and a magnaflow high flow cat with an n1 catback. The only issue is that after the carwarms up and you hit the gas it feels like it wants to go but won't and then it hits around 3500 and starts to take off. If you turn it on from a cold start or even if its been off for a few minutes it has no lag in the low rpms

Re: Low end torque problem

did you do timing when you had the motor out? sounds like maybe it could be a tooth off or something

Re: Low end torque problem

I replaced the belt but its an h22 belt which has like one less tooth I think could that be the problem? I was informed that the belt would work
