Help With Cv Axle Replacement!!

I have a 1992 SI A/T

I need to replace the passenger side axle, and I don't have (and can't find ANYWHERE) the Haynes guide for it.

Can anyone give me a step by step? Or maybe even post a tutorial for future reference?

THANKS!!

It is really easy once you get in there, you will just need a breaker bar and a 6 pack of beer. You may need to get ball joint remover, its a huge fork like tool used to separate the axle from the tranny.

Download this and go look at chapter 16. If you have 4ws, you may need to see chap 17 too. Just loosen the axle nut (24 mm I think) w/ a breaker bar, jack the car up, remove the wheel and press on with what the manual says. It will tell you to drain the tranny fluid, but you dont need to. Honda overfills them anyways so when it spills after you remove the axle it will still have plenty for when you put in the new one. Unless A LOT pours out, then of course check your levels. If the boot is ripped open you're gonna hate life because the grease in there might as well be devil piss. It gets everywhere and sucks to clean up. good luck!
