What is this hose please?

I just changed the radiator, a couple of days later this hose busted (red arrow pointed to it). I need to order another but don't know what it is.

And just to be sure because I'm not 100% even looking at the manual, is this where the thermostat resides?

Yup that's the thermostat housing. You can tell cuz its got the bleeder on it, that's where you bleed the cooling system.

Yup that looks like the correct hose; heater core hose I believe.

Yup, number 4. I'll ask for the heater core hose. I can't use that part number at autozone can I? Man, looks like a PITA to change.

Re: What is this hose please?

The other one is worse. If you have an external ignition coil, remove that as well as your intake of course. Should give you enough space for your arms to fit. If you can't get it from the top then it is somewhat accessible from the bottom.

Re: What is this hose please?

I replaced that same hose maybe two months ago cause a huge hole rubbed in it from it sitting on my shift linkage. Its really easy to replace.
