Newbie Question!!!

Ok so most of you know Im new by now and I have searched the forums for the answer to my ??? may have skipped over it, so apologies for repost.. I'm trying to begin the process of getting my motor in a decent working order. What should be my main points of interest in replacing parts. I'm not bothered by expense because none will be spared.. Any feedback will be appreciated!! Thanks.

Re: Newbie Question!!!

@TypeT Good Look. I just cleaned out my vtec solenoid, it was filthy and led me to believe the reason why vtec wasn't working properly. Re-installed fired it up, brought it to temperature took it down the road, and DDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAMMMNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!! So I will stick to the run of the mill, basic engine overhaul, thanks TypeT!

Re: Newbie Question!!!

Simple stuff:
-tune up / air filter / fuel filter / oil change
-check a/c
-sensors

1st and foremost::: DO YOUR TIMING BELT!!!!!!!!!
Nissan was nice to eliminate the 60k belt change by going timing chain, but you run a Honda Now. No chain stretching or valve float, but you need to stay on top of this. Waterpump and do the MANUAL TENSIONER SWAP from and H23 engine. Someone knows where to buy the kit.

Everything else is just visual inspection really. Don't look so good, swap it, Rofl.
