92 01 HONDA PRELUDE BB1 BB4 BB6 BB8 HONDA ACCESS SUSPENSION JDM PRELUDE | eBay

I read it was a suspension option available for the jdm 5th gens and apparently the mugen suspension is the same?

Looks like my old Neuspeed Race + KYB AGX setup
I'd just keep reading/researching "Honda Access", never heard of that before.

Re: Anyone seen these before? (Rare Suspension Parts)

Minteh, so basically you think it's the same as the Mugen Showa setup?

Neck, Honda Access is what all the optional OEM accessories are "branded" as. Sunroof visors, mudflaps, OEM bra, stuff like that. Honda Access is legit, I just never knew there were "Honda Access" shocks/springs. Kinda sketchy, that's why I'm asking haha

I'm not really sure if they're the same.. Just what I heard on forums. I can try to do a real in-depth analysis of the 2 when I get back from work..

Re: Anyone seen these before? (Rare Suspension Parts)

You really can't talk JDMYO crap until you had the sheepdog exhaust on your 4/5th gen. All stainless steel, you can't find it no more. Prelude13 can vouch, the exhaust is wrapped in a sheath of plastic with little dog silhouettes.

Like Stanley fold down foglights. Kenoh side markers. Hitomi88 engine.

Re: Anyone seen these before? (Rare Suspension Parts)

If you can translate Japanese and compare the spring rates and height, it might be a good deal. Wish I could make the image larger without pixelation. I'm just glad my Showas came with the Type-S top hats with the extra bolts for the JDM strut tower bar.

Re: Anyone seen these before? (Rare Suspension Parts)

If they're saying it fits all those generations of Preludes, and make it visible in the description that they are talking about the "springs" but yet take photos of the numbers on the shocks...

I honestly wouldn't waste my time.

And yes, Honda Access is real. But a seller that does not know about the product is not something you want to deal with.

Re: Anyone seen these before? (Rare Suspension Parts)

They are real. I have them on my car right now. :) They are the same drop and spring ration as the grey/black Mugens. For some reason they made the same set and branded them different. There is no difference other than color and names. No idea why. I'm also interested in selling mine but not at that price. Mine work and are still going strong.

So Mugen shocks/springs = honda access shocks/springs. Good to know.
