oil leaksimple answer probably

so i just did my oil change and my oil drain plug is leaking a little. when i tighten it it leaks a bit so as i tighten it a bit more it gets loose im guessing a thread is ****ed so i was wondering if i should just get a new bolt with longer threads to fix it?

answer asap please to poor to buy more oil haha

do you think you might have over tightened it?

worst case is youll have to replace the oil pan and drain bolt, which isn't that expensive if you can find used. then while youre at it you can put new drain plug washer and oil pan gasket.

You can get an oversized drain plug or like wegzz said just replace the whole oil pan
