Icon5 Where is Chiltons Repair Manual?

I keep reading where forum members say that Chiltons repair manual is available on this site and I've searched for it but can't find it anywhere. Is it still available here? At least one post said that it's at the top of the forum page and I'm just not seeing it. I've done control/F on several pages, searched for "Chiltons", Chilton, Resource, Manual, etc. Can someone point it out to me if it's still available? Thanks.

Re: Where is Chiltons Repair Manual?

You don't want a Chilton's repair manual. The one for the Prelude is combined with the Accord, across multiple generations. Useless.

For a 4th gen, there's little substitute for the factory (Helm) manual -- search on that. In a pinch, the Mitchell version is useful, and I'm told AllData has an e-manual, although I haven't had a look at it. Go Helm.

It's all in black and white too, very easy to get confused between the cars also like said.

i have the alldata e-manual. i think $35 for the first car and $15 for each additional car. year long subscription. idk how much it is to renew. its actually rather helpful. there have been a few times that it didnt help much but it wasnt anything critical. very detailed exploded views. great for torque specs. printed out everything i need for my engine rebuild from it.

Where is it? In the trash, where it belongs.

screw chiltons I just downloaded a manual to my computer for the prelude i dont remember where I got it from but its a 1500 page manual for the s,si,and vtec models it has saved me thousands and thousands of dollars so far from diagnosing wiring problems, repairing my clutch (first timer),and just giving very in debth info on everything from wiring diagrams, routes for the hoses, torque specs and timing belt diagrams.. go on google and type in downloadable honda prelude repair manual or something like that and it will take a little looking but it will be free and more in depth than chiltons probally
