F%CK MY SKUNK2 IM

Ok, first off I just want to say hello to everyone. I have not been on the prelude forums in quite sometime. Unfortunately, my last thread explained I had wrecked my prelude and was going to spend $6k to fix as the body shop assured me the frame wasn't bent. After breaking it down they actually saw the frame was bent and rec'd not fixing it. Bastards still charged me $400 for breaking it down.
After the news I decided to get a prelude shell. Easier said than done. Could not find anything. At least not anything that was desireable. Mostly auto ones with blown trans and rust. The manual conversion and body work on top of the swap is way too budget unfriendly, and not worth it imho.
So, I actually came across a pretty decent silver accord coupe. A 2000 ex, 5 speed, lowered on some cheap eibachs (but stanced quite nice, the lowering really takes some of the bulkly appearance off, at least to my eye). Stock f23 with removed head due to burnt cylinder valve. I decided to put my h22a4 with trans, clutch, shifter, the whole 9 into the accord coupe and make an accorlude. I always found the 6th gen accord to be the 5th gen preludes chunkier fraternal twin brother.
During the swap I was also building the h22a4 head. Rebuild and remachine head and install skunk2 pro1 cams, supertech valve train, aem cam gears, skunk2 alpha 66mm throttle body, skunk2 pro series intake manifold, and arp head studs. All the makings to get this baby over 200whp with a decent tune.
Well, small problem. While the accord is chunkier, the engine is smaller. My skunk2 intake mani will not fit. There is pretty much no work around. The runners bang into the firewall on the accord. Even if you cut/bang the firewall, they then hit the windshield wiper motor. The only way to get it in is to remove the windshield wiper motor and that really isn't an option as this is my daily.
So it turns out my options are that I can;
a) get a CF custon IM, $1200, not really an option.
b) golden eagle makes one that should fit for $600, still too pricey
c) the euro r mani will fit, and it is single runner just like the skunk2, but still different in its own right. From what I understand the euro r is better to beat on NA and the skunk2 is better for boost due to a longer plenum. Roscoracing makes it already set to bolt to an h22a4 for around $575; however takes them 2 months, not an option.
d) I can buy the euro r mani stock for $300 and have the shop fix it up
e) they can get the stock throttle body to fit with a port and polish. Should lose 2 hp low and mid range, gain 2 hp in top range. I can't verify this, but it is what I'm told in terms of gains.

E and D are the two only options for me really. I am leaning more towards E. I'm already out $350 on the skunk2 proseries Intake mani, and $350 is the cheapest you will find it anywhere. Shipped or in store/shop. Trust me....
So anyway, I thought that was just an interesting story to share with the forum. Also would like feedback on what options you guys would have taken during the dilemma.
Lastly, I obviously have a brand new unopened, untouched Skunk2 Intake Mani. Looks badass with skunk2 logo etched into the metal where PGM sticker is on the stock one. Like I said if anyone is looking for this part brand new, it is $350+ regardless of where you live/look. I am looking to give mine up for $300 obo. Post the forum or PM me if interested in the IM.

Thanks Guys

Re: F%CK MY SKUNK2 IM

Sell the Skunk and use that money to get one from Rosko. Use the one that came with the motor for now.
