please help me

I have a 1991 Honda prelude si 2.1 engine I have replaced the alternator two in the past 3 weeks I also just got a new battery my car will not hold power I'm trying to figure out what the problem is

Kinda old thread but if you haven't got it figured out already have you checked all your fuses? If you have and its still the same it could be a break in the wiring a bad ground a hot wire grounding out somewhere a faulty connection at the alt or battery and also the pcm tells the alternator when to charge. Is it frying the alternates or are they just not charging the battery without that piece of info that's about all i can say to help you out

Re: please help me

check the flux capictor next to the intake manifold on the firewall if you aren't careful an overload from that could have easily sent to much power to the alt when in vtec
