COILOVERS!!!!

Ok their are at least 1000 different threads on this subject so i'll make it simple. I'm getting coilovers. Price range is $600-$800 Max! Prices are shipped and with what ever taxes their are. Options are the Tein Basis coilovers, Megan Racing EZ street, Function and Form type 1's and Others.

Coilover sleeves and lowering springs are NOT an option. Since im just tired of dealing with struts.

Please don't come here and start trolling on how bad Teins are or other coilover systems are. I just want a short review on what you have and what works best for your Daily Driver.

PS. I know that the Best Coilovers are the one that are $900+ but i just don't have that kind of money to spend on coilovers. Maybe one day i will but for now i have bills and am limited on the money i can spend.

Re: COILOVERS!!!!

Also why is it that the Prelude Coilover systems are the most expensive ones. Other Honda's even S2000 have cheaper coilovers. Heck i have even seen cars like the TSX, BMW's have cheaper coilover systems that are the same as the preludes but cheaper. WTF!

Re: COILOVERS!!!!

I had Tein Basics, then got F&F type2's. The Teins were nice, just didn't apply to the setup I was goin for. I love my F2's though. I'm sure other will chime in with their opinions/personal experiences once they all wake up haha.

Like i said your probably right maybe the BC's are some of the best made for the Preludes but, I don't have that kind of money to spend on the lude. Maybe one day i will have the dough to purchase those BC's, but for now ill settle for something that good not great. Besides im sure anything would be better than what i have now which is blown shocks and OEM springs. Wheel gap like a motherf*** i just want to lower it with at least little improvement from the OEM setup.

I had the EZ's on my '01.
They were so good that I lost wheel traction before the car even swayed.

Oh, and then I totaled.

In for the conclusion :P I'm also looking for some new coilovers for my 5th gen. I'm leaning towards saving up for BC but the Megan EZ Streets are pretty tempting.

When are we gonna ban this guy?

I don't think I've ever seen a non-douschebag comment come out of this prick's mouth ever since I've been on the site. That's 300 douschebag comments for each thread he's made. TrickType's (new nickname) got 1500 comments, but he only owns 5 threads (want me to do the math for you?)

Finland - "The greatest problem in Finland is Alcoholism and the violence or other crimes connected with it, Finland also has the second highest suicide rate in the world (Males) and fourth most (Females) according to OECD 2002."

"Homicides can be classified into four main types. Half of crimes involve men of marginalized groups (unemployed, undereducated, drug and alcohol problems) in heavy drinking situations."

Judging from the way you spell and the siht you talk about, I'd say you fall under every category, mom and dad must be proud

"The vast majority of female offenders target a husband or other family member."

If you're married, bet she's got you all planned out

You're just a hater son, stay the fukc out of America

Oh, did I drift off topic? My bad.

So yeah man, Megans will cost ya 6 bills. The BC's are better, but you'd be dropping at least a G. Can't go wrong with the F&F 2's or pref. 2.5's, but that's also around the BC ballpark. So, do your research and get what's right for you.

Word of advice: Don't listen to the Trick. Just look at his rep.

Seriously. My friend got hit in his Civic by an Expedition going 80. He was seconds from death but the fire department got to the scene just in time and freed him from the car. So thankful he's alive. Car crashes are no joking matter.

Just look at his rep.
hehe, rest rest of the world do already know how stupid yanks are, so no reason you to prove that again

you do realize that they come out the same right? actually you paid 1 USD more but whatever

to OP, you really can't go wrong with either 3 that you listed, so it's personal preference for you. to be honest though, you should just wait and save a little more so you can get whatever you want first
