I rescued my prelude

so I want to hear what everyone has done to fix up their preludes. I bought mine in really bad shape and been fixing it slowly I rescued my prelude from horrible people some things I did

replaced all lights on bumper
replaced entire ac system
new seats
5th gen sunroof
kyb suspension
rewired most of my wiring harness
I got over 100 hours of labor into rebuilding my passenger quarter panel due to a t bone
and building a mild built h22 because I got a single cam with 215000 miles on it

Welcome. I've put a big share of cash and labor into the lude as well.

Re: I rescued my prelude

What's up man!
I got my Lude about 70% complete, missing all sorts of lights, interior panels and suspension pieces. She runs fine now But I'm still finding new things to get at!

Re: I rescued my prelude

I've spent as much as, if not more than it's worth just making it look normal again. Maybe not the most sensible financial decision, but makes up for it tenfold in satisfaction. Check out my build thread in my sig for pics if you want.

Re: I rescued my prelude

just keep doing what your doing..little by little and since your already familiar with bodywork and the engine you will save a lot of money.

Re: I rescued my prelude

Bought my 'lude after being backed into by a truck. She should have been totaled, but the insurance company didn't want to pay out a decent price. So, the owner sold her to me. The hood was bent nearly in half, bumper was cracked, nostrils broken, radiator support bent along with the radiator and condenser. Took her home, and reconstructed her face. Added WS2 exhaust, DC header, Function Form Type One coilovers, some ollllld school Advan wheels, JDM headlights, eyelids, and a bit of sound.
