Electrical prob. Need help PLz!!

Ok so not to long ago my dash indicator lights(trunk, brake lamp, car door) would come on with door closed and trunk closed. An then it would fade out and turn off. Now they stay on and they blink. I'm sure it's an electrical prob. I just haven't had time to look at it. I've tried searching couldn't find anything useful. So any help would be great

Re: Electrical prob. Need help PLz!!

A post for electrical help would require further details to be properly resolved...
Here are a few suggestions.

1) Place the request in the Generation Specific forum
2) Download the generously given teroubleshooting guide(s) stickied to the top of each Generation Specific forum. - familiarize yourself with the wiring diagrams and detailed troubleshooting pages.
3) provide the Model/Trim package and year of said car.
4) is the Check engine light on? HAve you "pulled the codes" yet? - *hint* there is a great thread about how to do this.
4) Refine your search "argument" as a simple search for "Electrical Problem Dash" returned 44 hits in 0.05 seconds. There are MANY helpful threads; for example, this is one I was helping with:

Troubleshooting Electrical Mystery

Dig in, read a bit, don't be in a hurry... you may find a common troubleshooting step that many forget to do. -- just sayin
Your response will indicate your desire to be asssited.

Check your grounds, and re-seat the harness powering your indicators, under your dash. You're voltage is either too high or not high enough. Take a look, if it's really bad, the problem will show up easy, Cheeseburger harness connections.
