5th gen volume knob problem

Idk what the problem is but everytime I turn the volume up or down it either goes the complete opposite or cranks the stereo way too high. I have to pull on it a little to make it work. Any idea on how to fix this? Btw it's the stock system

Re: 5th gen volume knob problem

it's worn out. same thing happend to my stock unit as well. search the forums, usually someone is selling one for cheap. remember 97-98 units are inter changeable, 99-01 are interchangeable.
