Wad up with that axle? Where did you get that from?

Re: Show Your Toolbox thread
RockAuto. I've never had a problem with them, and I still don't.
They're the second store to gimme the wrong axles which don't fit. Apparently there's a FACTORY back-order from Subaru on my front axles and NO ONE can get them; Napa, Autozone, Advanced Auto Parts, etc... So I'm thinking ppl who've bought reman'd '05 STi axles installed them, put a diff car/model's axles back in the box and returned them to get the core charge, than the stores don't have an idea what the right/wrong axles are, and just sell them again thinking they're for my car. Thats my theory at least.

Hmmm. What about the contents of the toolbox? You gonna show that? I def like the boards, takes me back to the two years of skate boarding I did and all the concurrent scars that followed, LOL I really need to unearth that damn tool box!

Re: Show Your Toolbox thread
Thanks Man! I would also need half If I didn't have a old ass truck with seized bolts and need all types of leverage. Also I'm basically done with the mechanic tool, now diagnostic and power are on my agenda. I was ebay hunting all summer, since my job cut me a check for banked vacation time.

Re: Show Your Toolbox thread
I know your friend is giving you access to his tools, but tax season is coming and President's day is the next good holiday to get a blowout on tools and stuff.
Just a suggestion, anyways. It costs as much as doing one major car repair, but if you assemble your set right, Whenever you fix your car, money stays in your pocket and all that.

Re: Show Your Toolbox thread
i know there is just no place to keep tools in the condo where we live and they don't allow people working on their car in the garage so just 1 nice set should help me with the basic stuff i can do right now

Re: Show Your Toolbox thread
And You lived in NY?
C'mon man, you take your car to a mall parking lot with three freinds and work on your car there. If anyone asks, you say you're trying to get it started. You pick like three different spots and alternate between them, LOL. But honestly the Craftsman Maxx Access tool set sounds right for you, it's more versatile and as long as you're not hard wrenching (which you said you're not) perfect.

these tools are rediculous in price but their performance is nice. I know at first I had a hard time justifying paying 150 for a 3/8 flex head ratchet but whatever. |

Re: Show Your Toolbox thread
Mercedes Benz only allows blue? The "silverstar" people? Lolol at least you can use it as furniture, sexy time table, door barricade against zombies, battering ram to knock over the same zombies, and my personal fav:KITCHEN ISLAND. When I get my own house. FOREVER THIS.
I also have a tool cart and electronics only tool box too, and does the job i need it to. But those big boxes ![]() Back to hooking myself out to fat chicks.... Again. Been looking on CL for 1950-ish tool boxes. Those look BOSS

Kitchen Island. Lmao.
Do the 50's boxes have fins at the back? ![]() ^^ Junkyard bag spread out. ![]() ^^ Packed away. ![]() ^^ Recent addition. Tool chest/kitchen island. At the moment it's completely empty. A coin toss will determine pots n pans or drills n drivers.

Re: Show Your Toolbox thread
Mike lol! Be well aware if any tool box came 1950's caddy style or Bel air design, YEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!! I would!!!!! I miss that look, its like driving a comet
![]() And Kitchen Island with the wood top like the craftsman 350-ish rolling cabinet is beautiful. A chef table from a culinary catalogue is ballpark $450 at the minimum (at least the ones i like) Doing an ice tray / socket holder mod for those loosies i snagged the other day. Gonna keep scouring the interweb ![]() Invisible like button for that kobalt cart!!!

Re: Show Your Toolbox thread
I liked the coat hanger hooks idea you mentioned.
I did find some ice trays recently... Aaaaaand.... ![]() ^^ 1950's Kennedy machinist box Found one of these upstairs at my pops house. Still loaded with his early early machinist tools, conversion charts and notes. If memory serves his is a 5 drawer unit.

I know this is probably wasted words since they already give you a box but paint it if you want to use yours.
