faded center wheel caps.

so the H's on my center wheel caps are faded and are now pink. If I wanted to restore them, how would I go about doing this?

I have no experience w/ painting or anything, but it doesn't seem like it should be all that hard for a project this small. Any tips?

Re: faded center wheel caps.

use a very fine tip brush and take your time, maybe use tape and a razor blade to cover up the area around the H

Re: faded center wheel caps.

Hmm you can sand down only if someone previously painted it or to take of scratches. You can get filler or mask type of material I fergot what its called but basiclly you put it over and cover the H and then spray paint the rest then when dry you just peel of that masking material. Hope I made some sense

Or maybe you could just buy a set? I have it. Check my thread.
