Prelude Radar

Just curious if im alone in the world (which i doubt i am)

i do 2 things that constantly get me made fun of:

1.) i manage to spot preludes before any of my friends. Particularly while driving, its like i have a spidey sense but with only preludes. i seriously find the urge to look in a direction and bam theres a prelude!
2.)i feel the need to shout "PREELUDDDE!!!!" which unfortunately in my area normally also results in me shaking my head and yelling explitives since the people in my area are the reason imports have a bad rep.

im pretty certain this is something i was born with, considering i was born a luder! are there others like me?

Re: Prelude Radar

I am on the same boat as you bro. I love cars. Ever since I was a kid I was always spotting Hondas and now that I own a Lude I spot them everywhere I go.

Re: Prelude Radar

You're not alone, many of us have the same "problem"

You know it's bad when you know most of the 'luders in the state/surrounding area and get texts asking if you are in the area when they spot a similar one - or ask if you've seen a new one in the area lol

Re: Prelude Radar

They all stick out to me like a sore thumb, reason being they're so rare where I live so when I see one im like HOLY OMG!!! A LUDE!

Also you have those stupid Oldsmobile Alero's or whatever that sort of resemble the 4th gens front, then that stupid azz Ford Fusion that copied 5th gen headlight styling and 4th gen taillight styling that always gets my hopes up...

I also keep my eye open on local classifieds (kijiji/ebay, craigslist, newspaper, etc.) for ludes for sale in my area as well as local part outs...also keep a tab on the pick n pull and soon on other car graveyards...

"obsessed is a word the lazy use to describe the dedicated"

Re: Prelude Radar

I've only seen a handful of Preludes in my area, so I always get so excited when I spot one. Non-'Luders just think I'm crazy

All Prelude owners I've met through craigslist, around town, ect. are super nice. Even when we just pass each other on the road, most will smile and wave. I guess we all understand that we're part of a dying breed.
