question about aircraft remover

Hey guys, Itried searchuing for this in diy's and stuff but couldn't find an answer. I'm planning on repainting my wheels and using aircraft remover to remove the old paint. Just wondering if Iget aircraft remover on my tires will it damage them? considering what it does to paint I'm assuming it wont do anything good to rubber. Thanks

Re: question about aircraft remover

A little bit of over spray isn't going to hurt, just don't coat your tire with it. I used index cards between the rim and tire and didn't have any issues.
