no.3 vac line delete ?

There was a thread somewhere I came across in the past here, I shoulda bookmarked really... Ive searched high and low for this thread here in the past couple weeks and I cant find it...
It was a DIY on deleting your no.3 vac line, I read there that its useless...

If anyone comes across that thread or has it handy please shoot me over a link..
