bybass a code

My catylitic converter had a meltdown.....so I gutted it. Now my car is throwing a code 67. I looked it up and its because my cat isn't operating up to spec. No **** Sherlock. Is tjere anyway to disable that code? Could I just pull the secondary o2 sensor and block off the hole in the exhaust, or would that be a bad idea. I have no money for a cat right now, but would like to know if my car throws other codes without jumping out the service connector everytime I get home.
