Just got this thing in the mail and was curious if ANYONE has successfully installed one on a 4th gen prelude?

Re: High Flow Fuel Filter, Help Please

This is the problem I'm having. How does the hard-line (on the right) go into the bottom of the filter??? I'm open for idea

Re: High Flow Fuel Filter, Help Please

Andddddddd this is why you don't buy generic brand parts off Ebay.

There really isn't a need for a high flow filter anyway. Its not gonna flow any more than the pump is already putting out.

Re: High Flow Fuel Filter, Help Please

unless you bend a new hardline or use a braided stainless steel line, its not gonna fit. I'll tell you that that filter will fit a 5th gen but obviously not the 4th. Just buy an oem filter or equivalant. Like already said, a high flow fuel filter is pointless.

Re: High Flow Fuel Filter, Help Please

well at least I know now. Well Mods we can keep this up here so people can learn from my mistake and re-label it "DO NOT BUY this high flow for gen 4," or you can kill it. Up to you guys. But I think I'll hold on to this puppy until I get boosted. thanks for the help though guys.

Re: High Flow Fuel Filter, Help Please

As stated, you can still make it work though by replacing the hardline with a SS braided flex line and some new fittings if you really want to..

Re: High Flow Fuel Filter, Help Please

This is what we used on my friend's integra, from a local store here. Looks like they have online ordering too;

Largest Performance Parts and Truck Accessory Speed Shop in NM | Yearwood Performance Center

Mated with those AN fittings, it looks pretty sweet when all hooked up.

Re: High Flow Fuel Filter, Help Please

Yeah, you could also relocate the fuel pressure guage by splicing in a T fitting and then continue to the fuel rail, but factory fuel filters are best for 90% of all fuel delivery needs. And you can paint them to match your engine scheme.

I'd say install it and learn something new! That's how car guys are forged! MISTAKES!
