Is there anything I can do?

Hi, I have a 93 h23.
The red srs light in the top left corner of my dash is on. The manual says there's something wrong with my air bag. Has anybody experienced this problem?

Re: Is there anything I can do?

Thanks I will look into that?
My horn and cruise control also went out. I checked the fuse for horn n it's good. Not real major issues but the cruise control does keep my foot out of the pedal lol

There is something in the steering wheel called a clock spring that holds the wires for your horn, airbag, and possibly cruise control, if over extended it will break and will cause both horn and airbag to be disabled. My guess is that, but definitely diagnose the problem before going out to get one, I don't believe they're cheap.

Thanks sounds like that could be it. They didn't all go out at once tho. Horn was first and then I couldn't accelerate with the cruise button but I could still set it. A week or two after that and I couldn't set it either. The airbag light was last. How can I check that? Take it to a dealer
