SEAT WON'T STAY UP?

On my 92 prelude, my driver's seat won't stay up. I just bought it three days ago, and the seat was straight up like I like, then every time I'd move it forward to get in the back seat, it would start to click into place a little farther back. Now it is full reclining, but will still tilt up to get into back seat. It's very annoying and kind of hard to drive. Any help?? Thanks, Keith.

No need, The prelude isnt that old yet... Just give it a little rub down and it will go right back up just the way you like it.

You might have something in the thing on the side. (don't know what it is called). Same thing happened to me. i used air blower (lol) hooked it up to an air hose and blew whatever it was out and it worked fine after that.

I sort of figured it out. You can't pull the lever up all the way after it is all the down when you are coming back up. You have to just barely pull up and it works sometimes. I'll try blowing it tomorrow ;p ha

Re: SEAT WON'T STAY UP?

Yeah it stays up now haha. It'll still stay down though if I put it down, then I have to screw with the lever for five minutes until it stays up but it's all good. The viagra helped, thanks a lot guys haha
