Might be leaking gasoline. What should I replace?

Ever since I replaced my fuel filter, my MPG seems to have went down a LOT. And I'm not 100% sure, but i suspect my gas level reads lower every morning from what I remember it being at night.. What should I replace that could be the cause of the problem? I'm thinking fuel rail, injectors,.. I'm due to replace these things anyway so it's okay

i know gas evaporates rather quickly but have you noticed a smell of gas or puddle under car or a wet spot in the engine bay? make sure the connections to your fuel filter are tight and you didnt puncture one of the hoses when replacing it

Re: Might be leaking gasoline. What should I replace?

I'm assuming you mean the fuel filter in the engine bay, correct?
Did you double check everything you undid to make sure everything's tight?

A fuel leaked would be VERYYY obvious to your olfactory senses. You'd be able to notice it IMMEDIATELY with your sniffer.

First time I changed my FF, I forgot to tighten the banjo bolt, fuel sprayed evveryyywhere...... house reeked of gas for a coupla days. Not like that's a bad thing
