What is the difference?

So my Accord needs a new starter. I went to multiple websites to find a new one since my local Honda dealership wanted about 700 dollars just for the parts.
Part Detail

What is the differencer between the the two #1s? One has RMD on it. Are both required to fix?

Re: What is the difference?

I suspect "RMD" means "remanufactured", especially since there's a core charge for that one and not the other. You only need one or the other, and remanufactured starters are usually just fine.

And it has to be auto or manual transmission starter.

Ah okay. Well its kind of an old car, so I might as well go with the remanufactured.
