Obd2 h22 on chipped obd1 management throwing code 9

I have a question for the dohc lords here.
I have a 99 prelude with the factory h22 obd2 motor.
When I install any obd1 chipped ecu it produces code 9 tdc
Sensor.
But will not on obd2 management. If y'all can recall the obd2 h22 motors
House the tdc sensor on the oil pump, unlike all other hondas that have it
In the distributor. I'm wondering if the sensor is really bad, or if the obd1 ecu is looking for that sensors input voltages on a different set of pins on obd1 vs obd2.
If so this is probably something I can re-pin at the ecu?
Has anyone ran into this problem?

Yes and other then the random ass misfire and major loss of potiental power it drives and idles ok. However I need to resolve this code because we will be tuning soon.
The ecu needs to pick up on tdc correctly. Ignoring this is not an option.

The ecu - harmess is from advanced ignition phoenix az.
I have also tried now 2 other chipped ecus 2 other yonaka step down harnesses and one other program as well (mugen)
That's 3 ecus and 4 total programs and 3 step down harnesses all throwing the same code. The problem is either the sensor or something needs to be re wired or the sensor is bad.
But it does not produce this code on obd2 factory ecu
At 165$ a sensor.........

Re: Obd2 h22 on chipped obd1 management throwing code 9

it looks to me like obd1 ecu pins b11-b16
and obd2 harness side pins c1-c4 & c11-c14 are in question.
but which sensors pin set refers to code 9 and what pins do i need to confirm mapping from one side to the other of the conversion harness.
please help i dont want to return this i need to fix this.
im am a technician for xerox. i can do this i just need a little insight
heres a diagram for obd1
