Icon11 qwik swap Q:

hope no one gets to mad over this question. my trans just went out on me and having some extra cash ive been thinking of buying a whole new motor/trans for my lude. of course first thing to pop in my head..JDM more directly this:
JDM H22A Type S Engine with 5 Speed LSD Transmission Accord & Prelude | eBay
my question lies here: does this motor have ATTS, if so- with my car being a base model and not an SH is it possible to swap?

struck for time right now and dont have nets at the house ATM so i appreciate any quick feedback.

thanks in advance

Re: qwik swap Q:

If you have a base stick to a base switching to a an SH model with ATTS would me alot moree of a hassle. That type S motor doesnt have TTS. Try looking on this site Specializing in JDM-USDM Engines & Parts...hmotorsonline.com Dont take my complete word I dont know much about swaps just a very limited amount. But for the motor I say stick to just a H22A sh and get an LSD tranny. Type is has abit more power but is alot more pricey.

Re: qwik swap Q:

Since your car is a base, you should have no problems with the LSD swap. You do not want to buy the Type S setup because it will not fit without modification to the front suspension; knuckle, radius rod, driveshafts. The Type S motor is equivalent to the USDM Type SH motor, same ATTS unit, but a little more power.

The setup you have linked, I believe, is an SiR block. The SiR and Euro R H22s are the only 2 options for a factory LSD tranny. someone correct me if I am wrong.

I have an SH, and did the Type-S swap last year.
