Limp mode

Hi I have a very serious problem with my 5g prelude it has definitely gone into limp mode twice. So let's start with some info, I have an h22a obd1 black top motor, running from a stock obd2 ecu. Motor swap was
Done last year since yesterday all of a sudden the car was rev limited to 3000 rpm then I shifted into 2nd and still rev limited . Turned
The car off and back on runs perfect. I got home scanned it got 6 codes each cylinder it thinks is misfiring which I'm quite sure is not and also a random misfire code, I cleared these codes took it for a drive did it again, so I turned of the car and back on runs perfect , hasnt happened again in 2 days... Any thoughts or similar problems please
Thanks
