Forbidden and JTC are the only ones that come to mind.

Re: short shifters

EDIT:;

I think b&m have some shifters too, Just no idea if they're worth anything. Phantom's on the money. Just looking up pspec shifters and might be worth looking into. Megan and weapon r have some too. JTC seems to be the good choice.

Re: short shifters

Megan and Weapon R are just adapters. JTC and PSPEC are true short shifters. I also have the JTC SS and it is WONDERFUL.

Re: short shifters

ditto... JTC all the way... supports a fellow PZer and it is a great product... There were some issues with a few of the early ones, but this was resolved and those of us that suffered the failure were rushed a new shifter. great product, great service.

JTC Shifter Reviews

the only thing I would say is that I wish it had a slight bend in it like the stock shifter so that it looked less like it is in 3rd gear when it's actually in 1st... not a big deal though and it doesn't really take any extra getting used to... just like the idea of having it aimed back toward the steering wheel a little... he also sells extender kits that come with 3 pieces (one which is bent, but I couldn't get it to stop moving along the threads, even with the little lock...).

Re: short shifters

I have the pspec ss and love it, they are discontinued now though so you would have to find a used kit. Definitly go for the JTC ss. Very good quality, just beware that on the shortest shift setting it will hit the console as ive read from others.

Re: short shifters

Thanks for all of the support guys.

We are doing our best to support the prelude community and to keep our prices ridiculously low!

We will be releasing some more great products shortly for the prelude community to enjoy.

Yes, our 5th gen kit can be made to shift so short that it requires trimming of the console. Considering it has 8 adjustment options, it's not too difficult to find a position you like that doesn't require any trimming (if that is the concern).

Re: short shifters

No doubt Tommy. I am thinking about taking my console back out and chucking it in the dumpster (or the building)! That custom super short setting has it sitting it the way, but I certainly don't mind... Honestly I will probably just trim some more until it resolves itself (it need to be trimmed "below" somewhere... the visible part there clears fine)... It doesn't bump every time, so I must be getting close (just added the console back not long ago...)

Here's an idea for the flashers if you aren't putting the sex blocker back in a 4th gen... any yes all my ideas are this good... lol... see: http://www.preludezone.com/diy-do-yo...er-1992-a.html

That's the longer straight piece of the extender kit coming out of the duct taped boot (still never for that bent part to quit "turning" on me)... and a small bolt holding the emergency flasher down from my "sex-blocker delete" complete with more duct tape! You can see some of the trimming I have done... really don't care if I have the console in or not...
