It's very easy. It seems kinda intimidating but really it's not. You will save $1000 by doing this your self. If you don't already have the Chilton's guide for your Lude then you should go buy it. You will learn so much about your car. The first time I did it to mine it only took like 4hrs. And I had never done it before.

You could use the extra cash from the savings to get some adjustable cam gears, Intake, Header....

screw a chiltons, not all of it is about preludes and the diagrams suck.

www.helminc.com

buy a real manual that is written about your car.

send the head to a machine shop to get a competition valve job done. Upgrade the valvespring and retainers then run a mild street cam.

This will need tuning however, which is more money.

reason they don't replace the belt cover is so they can access the cam gears a little easier to adjust them. I think, correct if im wrong

NGK makes great plugs for Japanese applications.
As a matter of fact, according to Helms I believe the OEM plugs on our cars are NGK Platinums. I have some NGK Iridiums and they have been working wonderfully.

your speedo needs to work in order for vtech to work....otherwise id check the wire the goes to the vtec solinoid on the side of the engine....my friends vtec stoped working and thats what it was...that friggin wire had a small split in it.
