Well, sometimes it feels like it has a miss. It jerks at high rpms. And the vtec comes in and goes right back out sometimes and I don't think the vtec pulls that hard at all.

Is the ECU tuned or modded? and how are your oil levels?

The ecu is supose to be done by erics racing . And the oil if fine I check it a lot.
I've replaced the plugs wires coil cap and button and it still jerks a lil it kinda feels like its losing juice for a second . But I really don't understand it. I think I need hondata but I don't got $500 and I don't think I got the smarts to tune it.

Suppose to be? You didn't call them and ask them about it or look at receipts?

Re: New Memeber From WV

If you do decide to get a ecu; go for a p28 or p72. You can get one chipped from phearable.com for around $200 and it will be tuned to your needs. You'll need the info on the motor like injector, red-line, rev-point, etc. Good luck.

Re: New Memeber From WV

You cannot tune an obd2 ecu with Hondata, unless you have something like the greddy emanage or something hooked up to your obd2 ecu at all times then it is not tuned. That is unless it is an obd1 ecu then you can just have someone go retune it.

Re: New Memeber From WV

Nice, take it to a tuner, please do not try tuning it yourself with hondata, you will most likely just make it run like crap, use more gas than it needs to, and last half (or less) as long as it would if a tuner did it for you.
