motor cutting out durring acceleration? PLEASE HELP

So before people say GOOGLE IT!!! I did I just want to know if anyone has ran into the problem that I have? I have a 92 type s and during acceleration my motor cuts out and runs really rough. alot of people on forums were saying main relay I swapped it out and also some times I had good fuel pressure and some times I didnt its just puzzles me because everything was leading towards main relay but I swapped it out idk heres a list of things I checked already
main relay
fuel pressure (48)psi got the fuel pump hooked up to its own switch
new injectors
spark plugs are fine (getting spark through wires)
cleaned the rotor off in the distributor cap
and compression is 180-195 on all 4 cylinders
please help me out people and please dont be rude im doing all that I can before coming to the forum for help I got my friend helping me out too but this car is being extremely gay thank you all for the help

get it tuned to NOT throw that code n u should be fine. anytime u throw a CEL u cant rev past 5k n the car runs rough. Goes into whats called "limp mode". Put ur egr back on to see fi that fixes it. Thatll help u narrow down ur issue

He said it is not throwin a CEL, unless you know more about his situation than he is saying here. To OP, if it starting acting up after the egr delete then try putting it back on like ^ said, it can mess with your tuning. Ive been told to do an egr delete you have to get your car tuned for it in order for it to run properly.

Re: motor cutting out durring acceleration? PLEASE HELP

My bad I misread it the 1st time. If ur not throwing a code thats unusual bc u should be if the ecu isnt tuned not to look for it. Mine threw it til I got my s300. U seem to have troubleshot it pretty well. How exactly does the car stutter? By that I mean is it like fuel cut/loss of power or is it just lagging? Try callin ur local honda shop/speed shop n explain to them whats happening n see if they can give u any ideas.

Also try checking the ignition system. U may need to replace ur plug wires (even tho ur getting spark) or the rotor inside the dizzy could be not makin enough of a contact causing it to bog. I did a qwik search to try to help u out n thats what IM comin up with from it. Hope u get everything figured out. BEst of luck

I am not a mechanic or expert but I think you should hit the basics- check the engine oil and antifreeze - I am just mentioning cause you didnt mentioned on your post

did you check if the alternator rotor was loose or making a noise while engine was running?

Re: motor cutting out durring acceleration? PLEASE HELP

thanks everyone for the responses but im at a stand still right now with the lude im beleiving it may be the coil pack and the rotor inside the distributor was disgusting a few months ago so I took a fine piece of sandpaper and gently sanded it off but I lost my job a little while back but my friend gave me his scion to drive for awhile so its sitting for awhile and Diamond_lude when I press the smallest amount on the gas I can get the car moving but if I press on the gas pedal like i would normal driving its just sputters like its either not getting enough gas or spark but I manually hooked up my fuel pump to its own switch and fuses and took the fuel pump out and looked at it and its fine so its got to be something to do with ignition im trying to get someone over towards me to loan me a coil pack for a hour or 2 but its not working out that well

Re: motor cutting out durring acceleration? PLEASE HELP

Well everyone I finally got a code it is a code 7 which is the throttle angle (tps) but i am showing signs of a bad map sensor so I am going to the junk yard in a day or 2 and pulling a map sensor and that may be what is causing it to run so rough so all of you that are having the same problems check your vacuum lines to the map sensor (mine was broke off last week) you may have sucked up some dirt or debris and burnt out the sensor like I may have well I will post back up in a few days and see if that is what caused it for sure or not
