Re: Explicit Speed lower front strut bar - 4&5thgen

Already ordered the upper front and lower rear for a 5th gen. Plan on getting the lower front next. To bad I can't use the upper rear because of stereo system being in the way. All products are hand made and made to order. Heard nothing but good things about explicit speed.

you know its made out like 1in 3/16 steel right? if you bust that you are going to **** more than than just the bar.

also lower tie/strut bars dont really have a performance gain on our cars anyways theyre just for looks primarily

Esp makes some good stuff but this isn't something I would burn money on unless I'm building a track / circuit lude

Re: Explicit Speed lower front strut bar - 4&5thgen

I ordered everything they make for our cars a few weeks ago. Still have a few weeks until it all gets here. I'll let you know what I think. IMO that lower front one probably won't improve much. Your best investment is going to be shocks and tires if you are looking to improve handling.

Looks like it would increase scraping without preventing damage. Most of the hits I've taken are at the first curve in the downpipe
