Cleaning Rust out of a tank

My car's tank is disgustingly covered in rust and it's making the fuel pump get stuck(i've had to replace it once already). I was wondering what ways there are to clean out/fix my tank, without replacing it.

Re: Cleaning Rust out of a tank

you'd have to drop it, clean it, and epoxy coat it. Honestly by the time you go through all this you might as well just buy a new tank, or a used one from a partout.

if its that bad on the inside you might as well replace the tank, a used one shouldnt cost too much
