scared!!

So when i start driving, and rev from like 5-7k ish, i can hear the vtec kick in, but you can't feel a power difference? Same for in second gear, also in second gear, just before i hit 7k rpm, my engine kindof stops? It just kindof kicks back. Anyone know?

Re: scared!!

VTEC all depends on what you've done to your car, oil pressure, how clean your VTEC solenoid is, etc. 7K is your rev limiter to prevent you from blowing your motor.

Re: scared!!

I'd say you search on here for that VTEC solenoid cleaning thread and have a look at your solenoid gasket filter n see if that needs a cleaning!!!

I didnt kno back then either til someone linked the thread to me and I cleaned it myself and BAM "Jus kicked into VTEC yo!"
