idle adjustment

hey guys this is probably extrememly easy.... how do you lower the idle on a 95 lude? mine is idling way to high (around 1500)

are you positive that it's not a vacuum leak, or throttle pedal being stuck.. (have you tried to take your foot and pull the throttle pedal out..?)

if all is good from above....,
for a real quick result, before you start your car.. you can simply turn the "dope" screw (on the throttle body.., it's the flat head screw) clockwise as far as it will go, then back a half of a turn.., then pull your radio fuse, or pull your negative battery cable for 10-20 seconds.., then start car.... if there is no change...., your problem is elsewhere.., if there is significant idle change, then readjust idle as per manual., "jumper wire and what not"

two nuts at the end of the throttle cable on the throttle body. move them. done.

@ twokex i have those two bolts as loose as the can go and its still idling around 1500
