need advice about the JDM Lowering Coilover Coil Springs from Ebay?

I'm trying to drop my car,
but i have no idea what kind of coilover i should buy,
and i saw the JDM coilover is 9 times cheaper than the shunk 2 coilover.

So just need some suggestion from you guys.

are they going to work fine with the OEM Shocks and Struts

ebay brand stuff is garbage. plain and simple. it might work for a while, but pretty soon bad stuff will happen. suspension is one of the things id never cheap out on

Oh dear, have you even bothered to look around here? We have a section specifically for this type of question, where many Prelude owners who have bought the products you are contemplating talk about where or not they're happy with them.

Remember, your suspension is the only thing that keeps your tyres stuck to the road. Cheaping out on it will more likely than not end up costing you more in the end. Like teh aftermarket driveshaft that a friend put on his car that broke whilst in motion, and while whipping aroudn took out much of the front suspension. Most expensive $150 he ever saved.

Re: need advice about the JDM Lowering Coilover Coil Springs from Ebay?

I bought a set of megan coil sleeves and idc what anyone says I love em. They're super stiff n give a nice ride. My buddy (naj3000) has the SK2 ones and my car rides better then his. We both run KYB AGX struts. I paid 100 for my coils but I bought em used w/3k on em. Look around b4 u buy. 9 out of 10 things on ebay that say JDM are NOT JDM. JDM is just put there so when ricer civic kids want to deck their cars out mad tyte yo w/all that JDM shyt they get a lot of search results n stuff to waste their money on. Look on here in the for sale section. This is where I bought mine. Good luck

Re: need advice about the JDM Lowering Coilover Coil Springs from Ebay?

Ur only gettin a deal on the coils lol. Monroe struts won't last long if u go low. Look into some better struts. Good price for the sleeves tho reguardless

so what is your suggestion?

This is what i think

Plan 1 : [Skunk2 Adjustable Coilovers + Tokico HP Shocks]$280+$344
Plan 2 : [Function & Form Type I Coilovers]$629
Plan 3 : [Tokico HP Suspension Kit]$554.89
Plan 4 : [KYB AGX Adjustable shocks + Skunk2 Adjustable Coilovers] $ unknown.
Since KYB AGX shocks is adjustable, do i need the adjustable coilover?

Re: need advice about the JDM Lowering Coilover Coil Springs from Ebay?

And adjustable coil over allows u to adjust how low u go where as an adjustable strut allows u to change how soft or stiff u want ur suspension. Make sure if u get coil over that u get adjustable struts. They will be better handling n will hold up better. Then non adjustables aee better then stock but stock replacements. If u have the money I kno everyone will say koni struts. Ur lookin at 600+ just for the struts tho. The AGXs are good n u can get all 4 new for like 350. I bought mine on ebay. Just look around n see who has the cheapest pricing. Tokicos r good struts too like I said just make sure u go w/an adjustable strut.
