Which tires should I use for the front?

Just curious which i should use on the front and which on the rear. Recently acquired a 98 prelude and a buddy gave me some wheel with these tires on there. Any help would be appreciated if it makes a difference.

Tire A = 17 inch Nexen N7000

Tire B = 17 inch Nitto Neo Gen

A quick Q - Why would you want different tyres on the front compared to the rear? Won't that result in different grip levels so that either the front or rear will loose grip before the other does?

That's what I was thinking. That being said I'd go with the Nittos.

Re: Which tires should I use for the front?

Both those tires look low on tread, the nitto is a better tire. It's better to have the same tires, but if u put two different types make sure there the same speed rating, if not put lower speed rating in the front for better tread wear
