Fuel Upgrade Questions

Haven't found any sticky threads on fuel upgrades yet so i figured i'd post one. i just upgraded to stage1 skunk camshafts and i'm already looking to go for stage2's but i know i need to do the fuel upgrades, and i wanted to do that first.

but i'm kind of at a loss of what that all entails? i know the injectors and the pump but is there anything else thats a MUST do? rail, IAC, etc?

thanks much

Re: Fuel Upgrade Questions

why do you think that your fuel pump doesnt give enough fuel?
i bought acura rdx 410cc injectors and rosko's fuel rail ...contact rosko to hook you up, dont really know do you have to get new fuel pump yet or not (with fuel pressure regulator it could be enough without that new pump)

Re: Fuel Upgrade Questions

The stock rail should be able able to supply the fuel you need for your build so far. If I were you I would look into getting some DSM 450cc injectors to replace your stock ones. the reason I say this is because these injectors are cheap and readily available. you should be able to find a good, working set for $50.

Im not 100% sure if the stock pump can't handle that build, but to be on the safe side I would also upgrade your fuel pump. A Walbro 255HP can be purchased for well under $100 and will certainly outshine the stock pump.

Re: Fuel Upgrade Questions

so i'm looking at some black top 450's, guys asking $80 but there are also some blue tops for $50...will either or work? also i found some brand new walbro pumps for $150 but i may look into some used ones. also, it sounds like the stock rail will suffice for what i'm doing but i wouldn't mind being positive haha.

is this all i would need for stage 3 camshafts besides valvetrain? these stage ones are putting me to sleep already..

EDIT
