Re: Spark plug question

Autolite are a quality brand of plug. I know people who use them in engines that are worth more than my entire car.

Check the specs of them against the factory spec plug and go from there.

Re: Spark plug question

haven't seen dyno comparisons on sparkplugs, but have on plug wires. NGK are proven to be better than MSD.

I've used autolite plugs in other vehicles and have discovered a few faulty plugs. I wouldn't put them in my prelude, but that's just opinion. Do what brash says, and if they check out ok you should try them. be sure to let us know how they work out for you

Re: Spark plug question

I have herd of some rare occasions where people have had their plugs blow out of their holes on engines with aluminum heads. The failure is thought to be do to a break down caused by the the difference in the types of metals that make up the plug and the head. The NGK plug uses a Trivalent Metal Plating for superior anti-corrosion that prevents such problems, It could be that all plugs have this corrosion protection .I just don't know so for that reason I just stick with the OEM type NGK plug.
