Re: EBC rotors and brake pads?

I'm running EBC Yellow Stuff pads on the Miata right now, and am very impressed. Although marketed as a light duty track pad, I'm using them all the time, and other than being extremely dusty, have zero complaints (and I'm not really complaining about the dust -- use a decent wheel treatment and hose 'em off regularly). I've seen mixed reviews on the Red Stuff pads, but EBC claims they've solved any problems.

I've been running Axxis Ultimates on the Prelude for years, and they've worked well enough I have no incentive to change them -- less dusty than the EBCs, and stop very well.

As far as rotors, you're on your own -- I've never had a problem overheating the rotors (even the Prelude's slightly undersized fronts), so haven't used anything other than a decent-quality OEM-spec replacement from the nearest FLAPS. I think the rotors on the car right now are made by Wagner.

Re: EBC rotors and brake pads?

I just did a brake upgrade on my lude... i bought centric rotors, hawk HPS pads and Goodridge brake lines. and i gotta say its wayyyy better than OEM brakes. HPS pads dust a Sh!t load but they are great... i think i got the rotors at Tirerack.com they are really inexpensive...

Re: EBC rotors and brake pads?

I paid just under 300 for just my front brembo rotors, Idk but to me that's a lot of money for just the front. Don't get me wrong they were worth every penny, but I bought them over a year ago when I was living in my parents house, rent takes up most of my income now lol

Re: EBC rotors and brake pads?

Dude you can get a set of blanks for like 250$ front and rear. They're like 40 ea for the rears and like 80 ea for the fronts
